Welcome to the Spring 2025 Graduate Student Appreciation Walking Challenge! Join us in this exciting individual-based step challenge where you can compete against your friends and fellow graduate students while learning healthy tips and tools along the way. The program will be running from March 14th to April 14th.

  • Enter First Name, Last Name, User Name, Email Address, and Password.
  • Under Employee ID, enter your student UFID.
  • Under Select Your Organization, choose Gainesville.
  • Skip Join a Team — this is an individual challenge.
  • Once registered, choose the challenge Grad Gators: Here, There, and Everywhere! (UF Grad Students Only) to join.
  • For mobile tracking, download Be Well (formerly Walker Tracker) to your device to log steps.

Livestreamed Fitness Classes

Join GatorCare’s 15-minute livestreamed fitness classes at 12 noon Monday through Friday to work on strength, cardio, meditation, or stretching. All fitness levels are welcome — no equipment is needed! To tune in via Zoom, click this link:

GatorWell Wellness Stations

April 7th - 11th 9 AM - 5 PM Reitz Union (First Floor, Suite 1100) Registration is not required

Take a break, recharge, and prioritize your well-being during Graduate Student Appreciation Week! GatorWell Wellness Stations will be available Monday, April 7 – Friday, April 11, from 9 AM – 5 PM at the GatorWell main office in Reitz Union, Suite 1100.

Students can stop by at their convenience to participate in a variety of relaxing and meaningful wellness activities:

  • Origami Station – Choose a design, grab some origami paper, and create your piece!
  • Attitude of Gratitude Station – We’re inviting students to write a thank-you note and/or list five things they are grateful to a graduate student for.
  • Essential Oil Bag Station – Create a personalized essential oil bag to help you relax and unwind.

No registration is required. Whether you're between classes or lab meetings or just need a moment to yourself, you're welcome to swing by for a quick wellness break!


Hitchcock Field and Fork Food Drive

Join us in giving back during Graduate Student Appreciation Week 2025 by participating in our week-long food drive for the Hitchcock Field and Fork Food Pantry!

About the Pantry: The Hitchcock Field & Fork Pantry aims to create a food-secure campus community, providing safe and nutritious food, education, and support for those facing food insecurity.

Understanding Food Insecurity: Food insecurity is the lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life. It can affect anyone, leading to fatigue, distraction, lack of focus, elevated stress, and physical hunger sensations.
