Financial Aid

The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships provides information on financial assistance, including employment and loan programs.

The University of Florida can provide funding to students experiencing unanticipated expenses due to an emergency situation. Funds from Aid-a-Gator are intended to be a grant, not a loan, to help our students in need to cover costs related to unanticipated travel, additional technology requirements, or other needs related to an emergency situation. Maximum Aid-a-Gator grants will be $500.

Food pantry

The Hitchcock Field & Fork pantry is a free resource for members of the University of Florida Community. The Pantry offers supplementary pantry staples such as, bread, nonperishable canned items, frozen meats, bread ,and seasonal produce from the Field & Fork Farm and Gardens.

Medical Assistance

Financial assistance for medical care through UF Health may be available if you are unable to pay. Assistance is based upon income. If your family adjusted income is less than 200% of federal poverty guidelines, you may be eligible for up to a 100% discount.

Career Closet

The Molm Family Gator Career Closet alleviates the financial strain of purchasing professional clothing for career fairs, interviews, and the workplace. Students who come to the closet can obtain free professional attire to help them look and feel their best. This service is available to all University of Florida students with a valid UF ID and UF alumni up to one year after graduation.
